A separate product
Rooms24 is also an app your guests use.
Not a staff app for running your front desk — that is the admin panel. This is ours, for the people looking for somewhere to stay: a map of properties, opened by someone standing in your area or planning to be. Your property is one of the pins.
Native on both platforms — the same screens, gestures and behaviour on iOS and Android, reading your live rooms, rates and availability.
Appearing in it is a choice. Opt in and your property joins the map; opt out and it leaves, with nothing else about your account affected. Either way we take no commission on a booking.
Run your front desk from anywhere in the world.
Whether you are at the front desk or away from the property, Rooms24 Mobile keeps you in total control. Real-time arrival notifications, instant check-in, guest chat, and room status updates — right in your pocket.

Why it matters to you
Distribution you do not pay a percentage for.
An independent property has two ways to be found: rank on a search engine, or pay a travel site a cut of every night forever. This is a third — and because our business is the subscription you already pay, we take nothing from the booking.
Opt in, and out
Appearing in the app is a choice, not a condition of using Rooms24. Turn it off and your property leaves the map; nothing else about your account changes.
No commission
A booking through the app is a booking with you. We do not take a cut of the night, because our business is the subscription you already pay.
One set of records
The app reads the rooms, rates and availability your staff already maintain. There is no second inventory to keep in step, and no window where the app sells a room the desk has just given away.
Your guest, not ours
You get the booking, the contact details and the relationship. A traveller who found you once can come back to your own site next season instead of paying a reseller to find you again.
What a traveller does
From opening the app to walking through your door.
- 1
Open the map
The app asks for a location and drops the traveller onto a map of what is around them, with a radius they can widen from a block to most of a city. Properties are pins; the nearest ones are a list they can pull up from the bottom of the screen.
- 2
Search somewhere else
Nobody plans a trip from inside the destination. Searching an area moves the map to it, so a traveller two weeks out sees the same view they would standing there.
- 3
Look properly
Tapping a property opens everything you have published about it — photos, rooms, amenities, house rules, reviews and your replies to them. Enough to decide without opening a browser.
- 4
Book
Choose a package, nightly or by the hour, set rooms and how many people, and see the total broken into lines before paying rather than after. Card or the local rail their market runs on.
- 5
Arrive, and come back
The booking sits in their trips with the dates, the room and the total. Because they booked you rather than a reseller, the next stay can start from your name.
Every screen
What the app is made of.
What each area puts in front of a traveller. Worth reading with the app open — these are its actual screens, not a feature list written to look full.
Map and search
The screen the app opens on. Pins are placed by real coordinates, not by a ranking auction, so a five-room guest house sits on the map beside the hotel across the road.
- Property pins with the lowest nightly rate on each
- A radius control from 500 m to 10 km
- Area search, to move the map somewhere else entirely
- A pull-up list of the nearest properties, sorted by distance
Property detail
Everything you publish about the property, on one screen. It is the closest thing the app has to your website, which is why the fields it renders are the fields worth filling in.
- Photo gallery, and a separate gallery per room type
- Description, address and how far away it is right now
- Amenities, and a verified badge once the platform has checked you
- Room types with bed type, size, occupancy and how many are left
- Check-in and check-out times, cancellation terms and house rules
- Reviews with the star distribution — and your replies underneath
Booking
A stay is not always a night. The flow handles both, because a day-use room and a two-week stay are the same property with different arithmetic.
- Packages, each with its own gallery and inclusions
- Nightly or hourly, where the property offers both
- Rooms, adults and children set separately
- A quote broken into lines — rate, nights or hours, taxes and fees
- Card or local payment, with the confirmation kept in the app
Trips and saved
What a traveller has booked and what they are still deciding on, kept apart. Upcoming, completed and cancelled are separate rather than one list sorted by date.
- Upcoming stays with dates, room and total
- Past stays, and the ones that were cancelled
- Saved properties, for a trip not booked yet
Messages
Two tabs, because a traveller asking about a late arrival and a traveller asking what is available are different conversations with different answers.
- A thread with the property, answered by whoever is on shift
- An assistant that can search properties and take a booking
- Both kept in one inbox, so nothing is missed in the wrong tab
Feed
A place for what is happening rather than what is available. Properties post offers, events and notices; travellers post about where they have been.
- Posts from properties, tagged as an offer, event, notice or update
- Posts from travellers, with photos
- Likes, comments and sharing
- Longer articles about places worth going
Notifications and profile
The housekeeping half of the app. Kept plain on purpose: nobody opens a travel app to manage their preferences.
- Booking confirmations, reminders and property replies
- Per-category notification settings
- Profile, account details and saved payment preferences
Your data in the app
What travellers see, and where it comes from.
Nothing here is entered twice. The app reads the same records your staff already maintain in the admin panel, which is also the answer to what happens when a room goes at the desk while someone is looking at it in the app.
From your property profile
- Name and property type
- Description
- Address and map position
- Contact phone and email
- Photo gallery
- Amenities
- Verified badge, once the platform has checked your documents
From rooms and rates
- Room types, with their own galleries
- Bed type, room size and maximum occupancy
- Nightly rate, and hourly where you offer it
- How many rooms of each type are left
- Packages and what each one includes
- Lowest nightly rate, which is what the map pin shows
From your policies
- Check-in from, check-out by
- Cancellation terms
- House rules — pets, smoking, quiet hours
- Taxes and service charges, applied in your market's order
From guests, and from you
- Reviews with a rating out of five
- The distribution across stars, not just the average
- Your written response under any review
- Posts you publish — offers, events, notices
Getting on the map
Register the property first.
Appearing in the app follows from having a property on Rooms24 — the listing is built from the rooms, rates and photos you enter in the admin panel. Fill those in and you are on the map.
