Cookie Policy
The cookies we set, and why each one exists.

Draft. This document describes how Rooms24 actually works, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need a signed agreement before onboarding, contact us and we will provide one.
What we set
A session cookie, so you stay signed in between pages. Without it every click would ask for your password again.
A device cookie, used to rate-limit sign-in attempts. It is how we tell a person who mistyped a password from a script working through a list.
A theme preference, so the site opens in the light or dark mode you chose.
A region preference, so prices stay in the currency you selected.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and nothing that follows you to another website. We do not sell audiences, so we have no reason to build one.
Because none of our cookies are used for advertising or profiling, this site does not ask for consent before setting them. The first two are strictly necessary to sign in safely; the last two only remember a choice you made yourself, and only in your own browser.
Preferences stored in your browser
Your theme and region choices are kept in local storage rather than sent to us. They stay on the device that made the choice, they are never attached to your account, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Turning them off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you signing in — that one is not optional in any system that keeps you signed in.
